BitcoinIQ's founder and CEO is a software engineer with a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge (England) and 30+ years across software and investing, who has closely followed Bitcoin since 2017. In late 2021, the Fed signaled rate hikes and tightening — draining the Macro support (Global Liquidity, Fed policy) that underpins a Bitcoin cycle. Bitcoin peaked within weeks. But at the time, YouTube was confident the real top was still months away, in March 2022, with institutions about to pour in. Those conflicting signals bred doubt; I hesitated, and I missed it.
